Woodwind Summit: an afternoon of duos, trios and quartets

Enjoy a program of duos, trios, and quartets for woodwinds including the virtuosic, yet bubbly Jean Françaix quartet, the iconic duo for flute and bassoon by Heitor Villa-Lobos, the Divertimento trio by English composer, Malcolm Arnold, and the lyrical and romantic quartet by 19th-century composer, Karl Goepfart. Immanuel Davis, flute professor at the University of Minnesota (UMN), soloist, and chamber musician, along with Christine Soojin Kim, principal oboe of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, substitute with the MN Orchestra and the SPCO, and faculty at UMN, Sangyoon Kim, principal clarinet of the SPCO and professor at UMN, and Fei Xie, principal bassoon of the MN Orchestra and faculty at UMN come together for a memorable afternoon of chamber music.
