Pianist Bethel Balge, Artistic Director of ProMusica Minnesota, returns alongside Minnesota Orchestra musicians Susie Park, Sarah Grimes, Marlea Simpson, and Tony Ross for a program including Ravel’s Violin Sonata No. 2, a sparkling blend of lyricism and jazz, Boulanger’s Three Pieces for Cello and Piano, filled with beauty and depth, and Brahms’ powerful Piano Quintet in f minor, a tour de force of Romantic expression.
