Two Korean sisters, a violinist and a cellist, formed this trio with a Danish pianist in Vienna in 1999. They proceeded to win top prizes in competitions in Germany, Italy, Norway, and Denmark. In 2005 the trio was named the second winner of the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award.
"…one of the greatest performances of chamber music I’ve ever encountered… Melodies sing with an aching sweetness, or seduce with wild eroticism, or haunt with impenetrable mystery… They move comfortably from melancholy to exuberant joy, and the listener cannot fail to be taken along." – American Record Guide
“It’s easy to see what so impressed the judges…a superb, greatly gifted chamber group" - Gramophone
