One of the world's most venerable chamber ensembles, the Czech Nonet was founded in 1924. Its unique instrumentation of strings plus woodwind quintet make it an ideal ensemble for works of all eras; in addition to performing the standard repertoire, the group has inspired the composition of more than 300 new works.
